The EU Knowledge Hub on Prevention of Radicalisation is pleased to invite participants to the training course designed for experienced practitioners, policymakers and researchers working in the field of Preventing and Countering of Radicalisation leading to Violent Extremism (PCVE).
This onsite training is designed to prepare practitioners (such as youth workers, social workers, police officers, educators, etc.), policymakers and researchers on the advanced level in PCVE, who are already integrating AI or are interested in using AI tools in PCVE to design and implement tailor-made activities in the field of PCVE with use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
What You Will Learn
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Practical opportunities related to use of AI in PCVE
- Useful AI based tools available for PCVE
- Designing and implementing tailored-made initiatives using AI technologies
- Risks related to the use of AI in PCVE
- Further developing and implementing AI tools within PCVE
- Important ethical and human rights aspects
Eligibility and Selection
To be eligible for selection, applicants must:
- Be a practitioner, policymaker, researcher involved in PCVE efforts
- Be a citizen of an EU Member State, a Western Balkan country, or partner third countries (e.g. Norway and Switzerland). Candidates with dual nationality, one from a Member State and the other from an eligible third country, may apply only once, using the nationality they consider most relevant
- Have a good command of English (minimum CEFR level B2).
Participation and Registration
The training will take place onsite in Berlin (Germany) on 19-20 November 2025. Participation is limited to 25 selected practitioners, policymakers and researchers. Please note that only selected participants will be contacted. Travel, accommodation and meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) during the training will be organised and covered by the EU Knowledge Hub.
