Founded in 2001, ReachOut Berlin serves as the preeminent centre of counselling support for victims of right-wing, racist, and anti-Semitic attacks in Berlin. ReachOut serves both as a response centre and advocacy group. As well as providing free and voluntary services to victims, it also collects information on attacks in order to better inform the public of the threat of extremism and violence. In addition it provides legal advice and assistance on creating a framework to effectively navigate the legal process (i.e. contacting attorneys, arranging court dates, arranging financial aid, and working with law enforcement).
