iHope was founded by a husband and wife team in London, following the incarceration of their son, the couple saw the need for an organisation that would be able to reach out to teenagers, young adults and children who were in danger of, or already subjected to, becoming embroiled with the law. Due to Halliburton’s own familiarity as an ex-offender and former gang-member and his experiences with his son, iHope (Helping Ordinary People Excel) holds ‘a unique position where all angles of the prevention and intervention of criminal and anti-social behaviour can be addressed from the street-level up.’
