This report builds upon the European Muslim Research Centre’s first report Islamophobia and Anti-Muslim Hate Crime: a London Case Study, and provides a blueprint for its forthcoming annual reports. The report aims to contextualise negative experiences of violence, intimidation and discrimination against Muslims in community settings were positive behaviour — devoid of Islamophobia — by citizens and officialdom offers models of best practice and cause for optimism.
