The Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights (BIM) was established in 1992 as a research organisation devoted to documenting and assisting asylum seekers in Austria. Since then, it has grown to be the largest human rights organisation in Austria and has expanded its scope to a variety of human rights and anti-discrimination policies.
