National Action Plan of the Federal Republic of Germany to Fight Racism, Xenophobia, Anti-semitism and Related Intolerance
Author(s):
The German National Action Plan is intended to be a comprehensive aid to preventing and protecting against violence and discrimination by clearly demonstrating that neither policy-makers, the judicial system nor society at large are willing to accept or tolerate such phenomena. In view of demographic trends and the growth of multi-ethnic population centres, the German National Action Plan also calls for a consistent policy of promoting involvement and participation at all levels of society and the political and economic systems. As a result, it incorporates the many different measures and initiatives undertaken by the Federal Government of Germany in this field.
