This paper was produced by the Institute for Strategic Dialogue in advance of the 5th meeting of the Policy Planners Network on Countering Radicalisation and Polarisation (PPN) in Oct 2009. It examines how good practice can be sought, developed and shared in relation to managing and communicating effectively on critical issues that are often considered to reach crisis situations in the relationships between government and their respective Muslim communities.
