Founded in 2010 by Dr Sandra Martin, Executive Director of One Million Americans Ltd., Re-entry Central functions as the national website for news and information on subjects pertaining to re-entry and related criminal justice issues. Editors aim to achieve this by compiling a daily comprehensive summation of important news, research, events, developments, and articles on best practice, strategies, and available grants and funding for re-entry programs. Beatrice Codianni, Program Director and Managing Editor, has worked in the field of violence reduction following her personal experience with the criminal justice system, during which time she served as a consultant to the Director of the University of Connecticut’s Institute for Violence Reduction.
