This report summarizes the recommendations and plan for implementing the UK PREVENT strategy within the context of universities and higher education. The report highlights several components of the plan, including the establishment of a “Champion Principals” group to oversee the implementation of the strategy and provide advise and support. Additional components of the plan include a Prevent Toolkit and a Prevent Seminar for colleges to be trained on elements of the strategy applicable to them. The report also includes the recommendation and a plan to better coordinate with UK ministries, including the Home Office.
